I was asked by the Red Letter folks to post it there, but if Jim has any response or feedback that I could incorporate into a new, original piece, I am happy to write another. The timing of it (trying to make it both expedient but also offer solutions, i.e. After the Yellow Ribbon event) compels me to move quickly while I still have time to dedicate to writing.

I hope Jim (and Richard for that matter) take very seriously how theologically dangerous their oversight was, not just for people like me, but for national policy. The wars we continue to be involved in really MUST remain at the fore of our national consciousness. If I can be of service to help ensure that kind of omission absolutely does not happen again (especially in an election year), don't hesitate to be in touch.
