I've spoken with Laura, and we think having the wedding photo (with the revised caption) would help balance out the earlier emphasis on PTSD, etc. You make a good point about making sure the problem and the solution(/hope) are balanced, and we think the picture can contribute to that balance.

I've been realizing (through marriage especially) that partnership is about learning from one another, and I hope the Guild can learn as much from CT as y'all might learn from us. The promise of CTs constructive engagement with the beauty and tragedy of military experiences is important. I am confident the Guild and I can help lead your readers to a deeper appreciation of the complexity of war and the incredible resources already at the Church's disposal, which is where this article hinted at.

If we can figure out an effective communication strategy that doesn't detract from the time and energy you or anyone else at CT needs for duties you already have, then I can't think of any reason not to collaborate. The attached email is correspondence, not conferral. LR 7-1(a)(1)(A) requires a personal or telephone conference; an email exchange doesn't substitute for one, however it's characterized. I offered three specific call times on September 13; none has been accepted. Plaintiff renews its opposition
