I really do not know what to think of this proposal or the author. He claims to have been somehow been involved with the Z titles JESUS FOR PRESIDENT and [JESUS, BOMBS, AND ICE CREAM](https://gijustice.com/record/tag/JBIC) but the name Logan Isaac is not associated with those books so far as I can tell. The key author on those titles was [Shane Claiborne](https://gijustice.com/record/tag/Shane+Claiborne)—an author I have not personally worked with but whom I know. Shane is a pacifist and an advocate of the “simple life.” He literally clothes himself in sack cloth—as in brownish gunny sack material. Was Logan a ghost writer Shane or Shane’s co-authors? Was Logan earlier or is he now writing under a pseudonym?

Whatever—it is a curious situation.

So far as the proposal itself, I did not find it engaging, though I admire his goal. I do not think it would fit with the Zondervan Reflective imprint that I lead and I do not think it is the kind of book my editors are looking for.

You might want to try sending it to the new Publisher for the [Zondervan](https://gijustice.com/record/tag/Zondervan) Books imprint—a basic Christian trade book imprint—Webb Younce (\[redacted\]). But first you need to find out from Logan just that his alleged relationship to the two Zondervan titles really was.
