"Question re. progress on military civil rights" (ignored)

Rep. Tran,  

In September, you and I and Ramiro Navarro, CCed, discussed military civil rights, to which you remarked you did not share the experience I had with anti-military bias. You also had the humility to point out that you are an officer while I was only junior enlisted, and a veteran at that. 

In our meeting, you instructed Ramiro to get to work on the Legislative Concepts, but I am not sure what he has accomplished so I wanted to check in with you to double check my math. 

I drafted two bills, one that Rep Hieb submitted and another that Sen Thatcher submitted. Navarro, at your service, advised me a few times but did not produce the acts or, to my knowledge, review drafts returned by Leg Counsel. In other words, it appears that I provided unpaid work to your office. 

I produced those documents only after being promised 15 minutes at the Senate Hearing. Now I am faced with the humiliation of having been un-invited to the Senate hearing next week by a fellow enlisted man, Sen James Manning, also CCed. His committee is inviting the usual suspects, leaving ordinary veterans out of the work they are expected to accomplish entirely behind the scenes. 

Can you confirm what work your office and staff, including Ramiro, have done to make progress on military civil rights since our last meeting, since you will not be hearing from any veterans in the meeting next week? It is alarming because you knew in September that Oregon is a hostile environment for other military families, so I am trying to make sense of the appearance that you are depriving this issue of oxygen.
