# 📧 Hegney: Daniels "racist remarks" and Manning contact

The photos below are in relation to a complaint made by [ODVA Director](https://gijustice.com/tag/nakeia-daniels/) of possible racial bias. Trooper Anspaugh-Lubans performed a threat assessment, and the log entry is listed below:

> Troopers from the Oregon State Police Capitol Mall Office were notified of [an incident that occurred](https://gijustice.com/20241204-odva/) in an online, public forum between a state employee and the subject, a member of the public. According to reports of the incident, the subject made racist remarks toward the employee during a Town Hall meeting. These remarks were memorialized in the YouTube broadcast of this meeting. Investigation revealed that while the interaction was confrontational, there did not appear to be any covert or overt racially charged statements made. There are two sections of the broadcast that are muted for unknown reasons. Further investigation into the identity of the subject revealed no history within OSP's database, and no further indicators that the subject is an immediate threat to the employee or any other member of the state government or public. This concludes the investigation.

Additionally, we found that Mr. Isaac maintains a website: loganmi.com/about, where he offers consulting and teaching services related to veterans.

Today, [Senator Manning](https://gijustice.com/tag/james-manning/) informed us that Mr. Isaac plans to attend two hearings: 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Both hearings deal with Veteran Issues.
