ATTN Court Deputy (sorry, I was not provided a name);

I’m the self-represented plaintiff in Isaac v. Manning, et al., Case No. 6:25-cv-01159-MC. The Court granted my application to proceed in forma pauperis and screened the complaint. I was told a standard IFP service instruction packet would be provided, but I did not receive it. The Clerk suggested I contact chambers for clarification.

Could you please advise on the following?

Service deadline vs. amendment deadline. My understanding is that service is currently due October 1, 2025, and I was granted 30 days to amend, which I calculate as October 2, 2025.
- Should service proceed now on the current complaint, or will the service deadline be extended/stayed until after I file any amended complaint?

If service proceeds now, will the U.S. Marshals also serve any amended complaint once filed, or should I anticipate a new issuance/deadline at that time?

Defendants to be served. The screening order dismissed some defendants/claims. Should I provide USM-285s and summons only for the remaining defendants at this stage (e.g., Senator Manning, Rep. Boshart Davis, Ms. Perry, and Does if applicable), and exclude those dismissed at screening unless and until included in an amended complaint?
Forms & process.
- May I please receive (or be directed to) the Court’s standard IFP service instructions, and blank summons and USM-285 forms?
- What is the preferred method to submit completed USM-285s and summons for issuance (email to the Clerk’s Office or physical delivery)?

Will the Clerk’s Office issue the summons from my submitted drafts and then forward the service packet to the U.S. Marshals Service, or should I coordinate any step directly with USMS?

Additional items to include. Should the Case Assignment Order or any consent/standing order documents also be included in the service packet?

The attached email is correspondence, not conferral. LR 7-1(a)(1)(A) requires a personal or telephone conference; an email exchange doesn't substitute for one, however it's characterized. I offered three specific call times on September 13; none has been accepted. Plaintiff renews its opposition

Attached is a copy of my earlier email today with Mr. Isaac discussing my desire to have conferral by email rather than phone or in person. My ability to prove a prior conversation this way is the reason I want to limit conversations to email.
