📧 "Cody T. Cook's reputational harm must cease" to Belshe

Yesterday, at a Scouting event out of town, I learned that Cody T. Cook, a Judicial Services Specialist under your employ, contacted a leader in my local Scouting America unit after visiting a local pack last week for their weekly Den meeting. Following his visit, Cody reached out to the former leader in order to file some form of complaint or 'report' about me. As a reminder, Cody was involved in calling the Linn County Sheriff against me in April 2025 because, as he put it, "[I was] loud." Here is that incident, for reference;

Linn County Sheriff call
Logan M Isaac: The guy was just here and then he took off. Must have something else he's got to take care of. Uh, you're mistaken. UTCR chapters 2 through 13 are excluded from small claims. Corey: So this um, so I'm I'm happy to send

In Cody's complaint to Scouting America, he cited as evidence of his concern, the fact that I have been arrested, something which has only happened two times in my life; the first was choreographed activism under the leadership of William Barber of North Carolina, and the second arrest was on April 1, 2026 and which may or may not result in some form of legal action against the parties responsible.

To my knowledge, Cody's use of the arrest in his complaint did not mention that it was false—a fact clearly and prominently displayed online:

🔊 OSU False Arrest
Transcript Chad Beeton: [00:00:00] 1137. Logan Martin Isaac: You gotta find another officer. I'm sorry. Chad Beeton: Okay. Logan Martin Isaac: Yeah. Chad Beeton: Real quick, I gotta advise of your rights right now. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be. Logan

As a result of Cody's loose relationship with the truth, BSA may have to run additional background checks and create a paper trail that may follow for the rest of my time as an adult leader. Cody's actions have compounded reputational harm already being litigated by the state of Oregon and its public agencies. This email will be forwarded to them and may result in legal action against Cody and any other oregon employees who continue to obstruct my rights as an American citizen.
