WTF is this?

I went from soldier to combat veteran to anti-war activist to academic, and each move came with a new rulebook nobody handed me. “Adventures” is the least angry word I could find for the last decade or more. This site is the logbook of rules discarded or ignored that costs my battle buddies more than our public official counterparts.

Why “GI Justice”?

Every unit has a barracks lawyer: the one who read the regulations, tries to understand them, and uses them to out-maneuver powerful assholes who assume nobody below them can read. If America is a toxic unit, GIJustice.com is me reading the regs and reporting back. Think Gunner Asch, or Yossarian with a filing cabinet. I’m not above the game. I played it for years, lending my face, my email, and my story to other people’s revenue. This is me just balancing the books.

The part that isn’t a joke

The satire is aimed at the players, never at the dead. Roughly seventeen veterans a day die by suicide. Any industry that earns attention, donations, or bookings whether or not that number moves can expect receipts.
