Last September, I spoke with you about military civil rights, which Senator Kim Thatcher introduced, becoming Senate Bill 1057. I am unable to speak with you in person about SB1057 because the same week it was introduced, I was unlawfully restricted from visiting the state capitol through a conspiracy to deprive me of my Constitutional rights.

I am emailing you because Legislative Administrator Brett Haines cited "recent visits" in a letter restricting my access to public property. No complaint has ever been brought to my attention, so I am at a loss as to what action/s to which he is referring. For that reason, I compiled the records I have of the visits I have made to Oregon Legislative offices for reference;

ORLA Visits
On February 21, 2025, Oregon Legislative Administrator Brett Hanes informed me that “a decision to restrict your access has been made” the same week Senate Bill 1057 was introduced. (Senator Kim Thatcher introduced SB 1057 “on [my] behalf” on February 18th) Haines’ decision was premised upon the claim that my

Because I spoke with you in your public office on September 23rd at 1630, I wanted to share those records with you since this governmental matter may become a legal matter after speaking with the US Attorney's Office in Portland;

🔊 Rep. Thuy Tran on MCRA
Oregon Representative Thuy Tran was the Chair of the Oregon House Committee On Emergency Management, General Government, and Veterans on September 23, 2024, when this conversation occurred. She was also a part of the ORLA Veterans Caucus at the time, and had her paid staffer present for the meeting as

I've noticed you have not signed on to sponsor SB 1057. I know you support the military community, including their constitutional rights, so it made me wonder if you were one of the folks who felt hurt by our interaction. If so, I hope you won't hold that against other Oregon military families by withholding your support for SB 1057.

Let me know if you have any questions, and when I can expect you to show your support for the troops publicly by sponsoring SB 1057 and making sure it gets a hearing as soon as possible. I've CCed Senator James Manning and his staff so you can reply to him directly indicating your support of Oregon's Military Civil Rights Act and insisting SB 1057 get the public attention it deserves. Thank you!
