i keep coming back to the fact that grace, reconciliation, and relationship are never cut and dry. that it is messy and frustrating and, at times, painful. that makes me want to be present for this thing, to represent the complexity and confusion that so often accompanies those things. grief walks beside joy, they go hand in hand and life isnt complete without a bit of each. 

i will try to get you a 1-1.5 page rough script that i'll go off of based on those themes. for the time being, i am happy to plan on being with you all for this thing unless i hear otherwise. i appreciate your patience and persistence with all this, which i am sure is no easy thing. you are an awesome friend dude
