20160308 📧 “veterans in community”

Hey Jonathan;

Is it possible to meet with you in the next few weeks about new monastic community? Since living in Camden, I have had a fleeting thought of a community of veterans for veterans that helps reintegrate them into the life of the wider church. I feel like i have been putting it off and the idea will not go away. I have a handful of veterans that I mentor and some of whom have said explicitly they'd be interested in something like this, but it is a very daunting, intimidating task. I'd covet any thoughts you have on it, especially in a face to face chat. Would that be possible?

Hey jonathan;

don't forget to send me that series proposal for IVP/CFR you did, if you can find it. I'd also love to keep meeting with you pseudo regularly, if you have time, maybe once every month or three months?

We didn't get to chat in as much detail as I would have liked, but if you have the capacity to do so, I'd love to learn from your mistakes as much as possible so I can make my work as effective as possible

@ 1252

Thanks for the reminder. I did, indeed, find it. Here you go.

It was good to hear about what you're doing and talk shop about how to do this work. I'm glad to sit down when and where we can fit it in and share what's been passed down to me. Glad, too, to learn from what you're doing. Feel free to reach out as topics of conversation like this series idea or the veteran angle on HB2 come up.

Bless y'all and that growing baby,
