20170727 🐦 “ban all Christians from the military”

Shane tweets: “Dear mr. president, maybe you should ban all Christians from the military. people who love their enemies don’t make good soldiers.”

Shane’s tweet was favorited 2,355 times and retweeted 730 times.

Amber Jones replies: “your thoughtlessness is astounding. I challenge you to meet with my community (the military) and look into their eyes and say this.”

Shane to Amber: “I appreciate the conversation. Twitter is too limiting. Glad to talk more on the phone if you’re interested. I’ve done much with [logan isaac]”

When I saw the exchange, I DMed Shane telling him I was not okay with being his token veteran friend if I was being kept at arms length in other ways. I don’t have any record of the DM and the account has been deleted.
