📧 “We will remove your articles” from Sojo
Hi Logan,
Thank you for your time on Wednesday and your patience as we had additional internal conversations. I reviewed our conversation and follow up emails with our editorial leadership. I wanted to let you know that in collaboration with our web team, we will be removing your writing from our website with the exception of the two that were paid for: Wrestling with Demons and The Right to Refuse to Bear Arms.
It may take up to a week to remove all the articles. I would also request that you consider removing our conversation from YouTube.
Best Regards,
Matt

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the update. I'm curious about the reason/s you don't want our conversation on YouTube. Could you shed some light on that? If not, that's fine but that's just to say that I'm willing to consider it even if I am not inclined to do so at this time.

The posts have been removed from our site. Regarding the YouTube video, I did not consent to have my name and likeness displayed in that manner, so I am asking that you please remove it. I hope you have a restful weekend. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Zoom didn't include an indication it was recording? I assumed that was what prompted you to ask...
The law in Oregon is modified single party consent; if you think you had the expectation of privacy then I was in the wrong. But you were on the clock for a large organization with which I had a legal dispute. I know it isn't fun to have a third ear in the room (fourth if you count God), but if this is just a matter of personal preference I’ll have to pass.
Thanks for taking the unpaid stuff down.
