✉️ OSU Exclusion Expiry Letter

I received your letter requesting your exclusion be lifted. I have reviewed all the documents you sent me and reviewed the case that led to your exclusion from the Oregon State University Campus in Corvallis, 2025-00494.

This entire situation revolves around your desire to speak with the Veterans at the Holcomb Center. I do not know the entire series of events that has transpired, but it goes back several months. You have been advised by OSU's Dean of Students on how to get space to hold a talk.

For this instance, you came into the Holcomb Center demanding to speak with William Elfering. He was not in the building at the time. The current Student Veterans Association President was present on that day. He has since stated they would not sponsor you to speak at the Holcomb Center because of your behavior.

On May 6, you again came into the Holcomb Center to speak with William. William said you were loud and appearing confrontational. You demanded the Student Veterans respond to you about your request to speak to them about your Veteran Civil Rights Act.

I heard about this situation on May 7 and had Officer Beeton contact William. Officer Beeton collected enough information at that time to exclude you from the Oregon State Corvallis Campus for University Standard 07-300 (Proscribed Conduct). More specifically, 07-300 1.1.1 which states "Obstruction or disruption of teaching, research, administration, disciplinary procedures, or other university activities, including the university's public service functions or other authorized activities on university-owned or controlled property.

I will not grant your request to have your exclusion lifted. It will remain in effect until January 22, 2026, when it expires.
