Alex, 

You told me that the next time our congressional delegation came through town that you'd make sure they faced veterans to answer for their legislative inaction on violent crimes against military families. Here you are with Jeff Merkley, one week ago;

I didn't know there was another townhall until I saw it in the paper, meaning you either forgot your promise to me, you changed your mind, or you never intended to ensure accountability from your fellow politicians in the first place. 

Which was it? 

You and I both served and both know what it means to tell your battle buddy one thing and then do another. I am asking you to be a person of your word and either admit you messed up or tell me straight, that you are not willing to uphold your oaths, whether of political office or to fellow veterans.
