Thank you for sending me Logan Isaac’s proposal. The relationship of the church to the military is a complex one, and the perspectives most often proffered do not come from the unique set of experiences that he has. He certainly has authority and credibility to speak to these issues. But I’m afraid I have too many reservations about the size of the readership for the book to pursue it, so I will have to pass. But thank you for giving us the opportunity to see it, and I hope we can find something else to publish together soon.
