đ§ âHolcomb Centerâ closure with OSU
[adding Stephen Jenkins, Senior Associate Vice President of Student Affairs]
Willie, you mentioned on the phone today that SVA is in the process of scheduling a meeting, is that right? And can you provide details so we all know this is actually being addressed?

After the most recent meeting of the Student Veterans Association here at Oregon State University, I was informed by the student leadership team that they are currently not interested in pursuing a collaboration with you or the MIA Project at this time.
Perhaps we can revisit this with the Student Veteran Association after the beginning of the year.

Thank you for clarifying that Willie.
However, I addressed my request to Student Life, which âownsâ Holcomb. I am still waiting on administrators to administer.
Lauren [Skousen], if I donât have an answer by 1700 I will be requesting space under University Standard 04-[040].

If I understand correctly, you are wanting âadministrationâ to authorize your use of the Holcomb Center and reserve it for your purposes. If my understanding is correct, then the answer to that is that the Holcomb Center is not a space that is reservable for outside groups or individuals. It is for the use of the students, faculty, and staff who have a connection to or are invited guests of the Center.
If you are interested in reserving space on campus, the two primary places who rent spaces on an as-available basis are the Memorial Union (mu.oregonstate.edu) and the LaSells Stewart Center (The LaSells Stewart Center | | Oregon State University).
