📧 “Deadline Passed, Circuit Court Filing Pending” to OSU

This notice is to advise Oregon State University that the April 24, 2026 deadline for response to Public Records Request PRR 2026-216 — the deadline your office provided in its April 10 acknowledgment — has passed without production, denial, cost estimate, or any further communication.

I am prepared to file a petition for order compelling disclosure in Benton County Circuit Court pursuant to ORS 192.411 on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, unless OSU produces the requested records or issues a written denial citing specific statutory exemptions by close of business on Monday, April 27, 2026.

I note that the April 27 deadline on my supplemental request (submitted April 13) falls on the same date. I am extending that same courtesy deadline to both requests in the interest of resolving this matter without court intervention.

If OSU intends to claim any exemption, please be advised that I will request in camera review and will contest any exemption claim that does not identify the specific statutory basis and the specific records withheld.
